Police are seeking a missing eight-year-old and his mother who were reported missing from Nairn.
Linzi Davis, 36, and her son River Bain were last seen close to Nairn train station on Friday January 27.
Officers believe the pair, who are from Auldearn, were travelling to the Edinburgh area.
They have not made contact with any family or friends since they were last seen.
Ms Davis and her son have links in the Nairn, Inverness and Forres areas.
Ms Davis is described at 5ft 2in in heigh, with a medium build, dark brown hair and tattoos on the top of her right arm and collar bone.
Her son River is slim, with short dark hair.
Police do not know what they were wearing at the time they were last spotted.
