A 56-year-old man reported missing from South Wales may be in the Fort William area.
Police said it is believed Charlie Clift will be using public transport and local hotels and B&Bs.
They are appealing to staff to be vigilant and report any sightings.
Mr Clift is described as 5ft 10in in height, medium build, bald and occasionally wears glasses.
He was last seen in Fort William town centre on Tuesday, January 30, wearing a blue outdoor jacket.
It is believed he will be using public transport and local hotels/B&Bs so officers are appealing to staff to remain vigilant and report any sightings.
Police are anxious to establish Mr Clift’s wellbeing and would appeal to anyone who sees Mr Clift or has information on his whereabouts to make contact via 101.
