The accident happened at the Ledmore junction, where the A835 and A837 roads meet, about 17 miles north of Ullapool, at about 11.40am. A police spokeswoman said that neither driver was hurt in the crash and that recovery vehicles are on their way. She added that police officers are directing traffic at the scene.
