Police have issued a second appeal for witnesses to come forward after a man was killed in a Highland road accident.
Timothy Humphreys died at the scene on the A836 at John O’Groats after being struck by a car at 11.40pm on February 17.
The incident occurred near the Seaview Hotel and the road’s junction with the A99.
The road was closed until Saturday morning to allow a full collision investigation to take place.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen Mr Humphreys on or near the A836 between the A99 junction and Newton in the hour leading up to the collision.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information and hasn’t already been in touch with officers is urged to contact Police on 101.
