Oban Lifeboat was called out at 8.21pm by Stornoway Coastguard, to assist the Scottish Ambulance Service with the medical transfer. The lifeboat left Oban with two paramedics on board, arriving at Craignure by 9.05pm. Following the transfer of the patient on board, the lifeboat returned to Oban, arriving back alongside her berth by 10.02pm. With the assistance of Oban’s Coastguard Resuce Team the casualty was transferred on to a waiting ambulance. The condition of the patient is not known at this time.
