Joachim Gerard Brolly was reported missing around 9.20am yesterday from his home in the Ford area at the southern end of Loch Awe area. Emergency services spent much of yesterday searching the loch area for the 59-year-old. Coastguard ground teams were deployed to the area as was the Prestwick-based helicopter Rescue 999. Police confirmed that Mr Brolly was still missing late yesterday afternoon. Mr Brolly runs the Torran Bay Hostel, offers accommodation and activities around the Loch Awe area. A police spokeswoman urged anyone with information to make contact with officers in Lochgilphead on 101.
