Six people have been injured, one seriously in a road accident on the A9.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the road near Aviemore on Saturday afternoon.
A total of six people between three vehicles were injured.
The fire service removed the roof and a door from one vehicle to allow paramedics access to a casualty.
A police spokesman said: “The public are thanked for their patience and anyone who witnessed the collision that has not already contacted the police is encouraged to make contact with the trunk road policing unit based in Dingwall.”
Meanwhile a motorcyclist was injured after an accident involving a Range Rover and a bike on the A95 Aviemore to Craigellachie road at Cromdale on Saturday morning.
The road was closed for a period while emergency services worked at the scene.
