Emergency services were called to the scene near Drumnadrochit on the A831 at 6.20am following reports of a one-vehicle crash. Fire crews from Drumnadrochit and Cannich used hydraulic cutting gear to remove the woman after she was trapped. A fire spokeswoman said they removed the roof and the doors to release her. She added the woman was taken to hospital. Her condition is unknown. Police are also in attendance. A police spokeswoman said the casualty’s condition is still being assessed at A&E. The road has been closed between Cannich and the A833 for an investigation to take place. More to follow.
