A hotel chain has welcomed permission being granted for a new 60-bed offering in Aviemore.
The Cairngorms National Park Authority planning committee granted permission to Premier Inn to build on the site of a former petrol station on Grampian Road last week
Nick Johnston, acquisitions manager for Scotland at Premier Inn said: “We’re delighted with this decision and we look forward to bringing a Premier Inn hotel to an excellent location in Aviemore.
“This will allow us to regenerate a derelict site, as well as delivering significant investment and year-round jobs to the local area.
“We’re excited about the prospect of welcoming guests to this gateway to the Cairngorms.”
