VIDEO: Footage captures motorcyclist’s near miss during overtake on Highland road

Peter Jones and Paul French were travelling back from Portree when Paul decided to film the stunning scenery surrounding them.

As the video was rolling, they captured a motorcylist overtaking on the A87, about half a mile up from the Sligachan junction.

In the footage the biker can be seen overtaking as a car travels in the opposite direction.

The video was shared by Peter’s partner, Louise White, online.

She said: “I decided to share the footage because I thought it would serve as a warning.”
