Sandra Element, 54, and Aiden Hoggard, 12, were last seen in the main street of Balintore last Monday at 8.15am. Ms Element is described as 5ft 5in tall with a slim build and brown hair and was wearing black clothing when last seen. Her son is described as 4ft tall with a slim build, brown hair and a pale complexion. He was wearing a knitted jumper and carrying a black rucksack when last seen. Inspector Jane Nicolson said: “We are looking to trace Sandra and Aiden to ensure they are safe and well. “It may be that they have left the area by using public transport and we just want to make sure they are ok. “Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.”
