A picnic bench owned by the community council has been stolen from a public area on the Kyle of Tongue Causeway.
The bench was last seen around May 1 and noticed to be missing on May 8.
Constable Katy Hunter, of Tongue Police Station, said: “The area is very well used by visitors to the area and is very frequently photographed.
“It is possible a visitor saw the bench being removed and thought nothing of it at the time however I would ask that you please get in touch to pass on any information you have. Many visitors may also have dash-cam footage which could assist.”
The one piece, untreated bench with table had been attached to breeze blocks by steel lugs and screws. One of the breeze blocks is also missing and may still be attached to the bench.
