Police have issued an appeal over separate incidents in Thurso at the weekend.
They are seeking information relating to an altercation which took place between two men at 9pm on Sunday in Orlmie Road.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who was within the area at the time to come forward, especially two teenage girls, who may have witnessed the incident.
Officers are also appealing for information after a man was assaulted in St George’s Street at around 10.25pm on Saturday.
It is understood that there were a number of witnesses in the area at the time and several cars are likely to have driven past.
Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Tayside Division or speak to any police officer.
