VIDEO: The moment driver decides to reverse up A9 slip road

A motorist was heading north on the A9 when he spotted an unusual sight on the opposite carriageway – a car reversing back up a slip road.

In the video the white car can be seen in the lane which takes traffic from the Caley Thistle stadium onto the A9 south. The driver then starts reversing back up the slip road.

The person who filmed the video, who does not wish to be named, believes the driver might have been trying to get into Inverness city centre and realised their error of choosing that route.
