More than £500,000 will be spent improving a section of the A82 in the Highlands.
Work starts next week to resurface almost two miles of the carriageway between Fort Augustus and Invermoriston.
But while the road will remain open to light vehicles, HGVs will have to follow a diversion due to the narrow width of the resurfacing sites.
The work, costing £530,000, will begin on Wednesday, June 7, from 7pm-5am on Sunday nights to Friday mornings, with no work scheduled to take place on Friday or Saturday nights.
A 10mph convoy system will be in operation overnight, but this will be removed outside of working hours. However, a speed restriction of 30mph will be in place as traffic will be running on a temporary surface.
HGVs will be diverted via the A87 and A887 during working hours, but arrangements will be made for bus services to pass through to minimise the impact to schedules.
