The road was closed both ways at Newtonmore after the incident which happened at around 12.15pm. Police, ambulance and fire crews attended the scene. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said three appliances from Aviemore, Newtonmore and Kingussie have been sent to the scene. He said there are two casualties but there are no details at present of their condition or injuries. The road re-opened at around 3.30pm.
