A Highland road has been closed both ways after a serious crash this afternoon.
The fire service are sending five units, including a heavy rescue appliance, to the scene at the A9 at Kincraig.
They were made aware of the incident at around 2.10pm.
Police Scotland are refusing to say what vehicles are involved in the incident or the extent of any injuries.
The Fire Service said that a camper van is involved and cutting gear has been used to free two people trapped within.
A coastguard helicoper has since landed to take the casualties to hospital.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “The passenger of the vehicle was released at 2.44pm and the driver at 4.10pm. The driver was taken out on a spinal board.
“We are still at the scene making it safe.”
