Police are appealing for information after a Highland bakery was damaged by a fire just weeks before it was due to open.
Firefighters were called to the Harry Gow bakery at North Kessock at 3.35am on Monday after the blaze was reported. No one was injured, however extensive damage was caused.
A joint investigation with the police was then launched.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them as their inquiries continue.
Detective Constable Nicola MacAngus, who is leading the investigation, said: “In particular I would appeal to anyone who may have noticed damage to the building recently to get in touch. You may have information which could assist.
“Please contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous.”
