Motorists using the A82 south of Ballachulish Bridge will face some disruption next week.
Transport Scotland is spending £75,000 to resurface a section more than 1,300 feet long on the busy road.
The A82 will remain open while the work is being carried out, but a 10mph convoy system will be in operation.
The convoy system will be removed outside of working hours but a temporary speed restriction of 30mph will remain as traffic will be running on a temporary surface.
Resurfacing is due to start on Wednesday and is expected to last for three days.
Work will take place between 7am and 7pm each day and the project should be completed before the weekend.
Eddie Ross, Bear Scotland’s North West representative, said: “These surfacing improvements south of Ballachulish Bridge will help upgrade this section of the A82, benefiting road users for years to come.
“Our teams will look to complete the project as quickly and safely as possible, however we would encourage road users to plan their journeys ahead by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up to date information.”
