Police in Ross-shire are appealing for information after a fireraising incident at a farm near Alness.
A derelict barn at Contullich Farm, Boath, was reported to be on fire at about 3pm on Monday, August 7.
The fire was extinguished by local firefighters, but the building was extensively damaged.
A fire service spokesman said: “We received the call about 3pm. Three appliances were sent to the scene including a height appliance and a water tender.”
The blaze is now being treated as suspicious and Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
Constable Lynsey Glass said: “I would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious or is aware of people who frequent this building to call us on 101, quoting reference NE11205/17.
