A child has been flown to hospital with serious injuries after a two-car crash on the A9.
Police, fire and ambulance were called to the scene near Ralia at around 3.45pm.
Three young children were in one of the vehicles – one is being taken to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries, another by ambulance while another is being assessed at the scene.
Police said a stretch of the A9 will be closed for some time while the incident is dealt with, and local diversions are in place. Motorists are thanked for their patience.
