Stornoway Coastguard received the call at 3.15pm regarding the casualty in Glen Creran, near Appin. A spokesman for the coastguard said: “Rescue 951 from Inverness went to the scene and took the casualty to hospital in Oban.” The condition of the patient is not known at this time.
