An 85-year-old man has died in hospital following a crash on a Highland road.
Roderick Sutherland, from the Tain area, was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following the two car collision on the A832 road near Dundonnell on Friday.
Mr Sutherland, who had been a passenger in a silver Mazda, died on Monday.
A white Fiat 500 car was also involved in the collision.
All the occupants were taken to hospital and have since been released, having suffered minor injuries.
Sergeant Chris Murray, of the road policing unit, said: “Our thoughts are with Mr Sutherland’s family and friends at this time.
“Our inquiries are ongoing and as with any incident of this nature a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
