A 48-year-old woman appeared in the dock at Portree Sheriff Court yesterday on drugs offences at last year’s Skye Live music festival.
Fiscal David Morton described how police were on the lookout for drugs at the April music event and became suspicious of Emily McKie, of Waterside in East Ayrshire.
Said the fiscal,”Her rucksack was searched. She had various powders and tablets.
“Some were innocent but there was also a quantity of cocaine and cannabis.”
The self-employed landscape gardener admitted the possession charges and was fined a total of £560 by Sheriff Eilidh MacDonald.
An additional charge that she had the cocaine with intent to supply was dropped by the fiscal.
