Fire crews were rushed to a blaze at a Fort William timber yard overnight. Two engines were sent to BSW Timber on the A830 at Corpach at around 23.45pm on Thursday. Two firefighters inspected what was described as a “heavily smoke-logged building” using breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera. One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames by 12.35am. No-one is thought to have been hurt.
