Car and lorry collide on A9 at Aviemore

The A9 was closed this afternoon at Aviemore following a crash involving a car and a lorry.

Diversions were put in place via Aviemore as emergency services dealt with the incident, which involved a lorry and a BMW.

The road has now been cleared.

A police spokeswoman said: “We received a report at 11.24am of a road traffic collision between a car and a lorry on the A9 at Aviemore.”
