The collision happened between Kingussie and Aviemore. It is not yet known if anyone was seriously injured. A fire service spokeswoman said: “We have a couple of appliances there. It was a collision between an HGV and a car. It happened just before 7pm.” A police spokeswoman said: “We are dealing with an incident on the A9.” The road is closed in both directions.
