Motorists faced disruption today after two sections of the A82 Inverness to Fort William road were forced to close.
The first was closed just after midday due to a one-vehicle road accident north of Spean Bridge. Motorists have been asked to avoid the area while emergency services deal with the accident.
Traffic Scotland said the road has been closed at Invergloy due to the serious accident and is expected to be closed for some time.
A 154-mile diversion has been put in place.

It is understood the vehicle has come off the road.
Stagecoach North Scotland has also warned users services are having to be diverted due to the incident.

The second section was six miles south of Drumnadrochit. Traffic Scotland advised it was due to a rock and mud fall. The road was partially blocked for some time but was cleared at around 4pm.
