The theft happened sometime between 12.30pm on Saturday and 6.45am yesterday. Entry was forced to an office and a workshop on the site and a quantity of hand tools were stolen. Detective Constable Christopher Robertson said: “We are urging anyone who saw anything unusual at the quarry or the surrounding area to contact us. “I would also ask anyone who is offered tools for sale to get in touch with us. “Anyone with information should contact police in Dingwall on 101, quoting reference NE17665/17, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
