Police across the Highlands and islands have seized drugs with a street value of £30,000 as targeted action continues to crack down on illegal drugs.
Last month 26 search warrants were enforced resulting in 18 drugs seizures and the recovery of £7,000 in cash.
A further 54 searches were carried out on people in the street or in vehicles which resulted in more drug recoveries.
Five people have appeared from custody in relation to these warrants with some inquiries still ongoing.
Detective Chief Inspector Michael Sutherland, who leads Operation RAM, said: “Over the last few weeks we have targeted those involved in the sale and supply of illegal drugs directly leading to the results we are sharing today.
“People in the Highlands and islands have made it very clear that they want Police Scotland to take action against criminals dealing illegal drugs within our communities. We are listening and be rest assured it is a priority – there will be no let-up.
“If anyone has any information about drugs in your community you can call Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
