Police in the Highlands are advising commuters of road dangers following Met Office yellow weather warning.
Commuters across the Highlands, Eilean Siar, Orkney and Shetland have been advised to travel with caution and that conditions for travel may be hazardous.
A police spokesman said: “Plan ahead for your journey and expect possible travel delays.
“If you’re out during the evening and planning on drinking alcohol, make sure you have your journey home organised.”
