A man has died after being hit by a car in Shetland.
The collision happened on the A970 at Blackhill in Lerwick shortly before 11.25am on January 16.
Martin Gray, 69, from Lerwick, was originally treated at the town’s Gilbert Bain Hospital before being airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he died on Saturday night.
The collision happened on a 40mph limit stretch of the A970 close to the junction with Gremista industrial estate.
It involved Mr Gray and a silver Mini Cooper.
A police spokesman said: “Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information who has not yet spoken to an officer should contact the road policing unit in Dingwall by calling 101.”
