Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision with a car left a cyclist seriously injured near Ardersier at the weekend.
The incident happened at around 2.50pm on the B9039 between Ardersier and the junction for Inverness Airport on Saturday.
The 23-year-old female cyclist suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries in the collision.
The driver of the silver Toyota Yaris involved in the collision was uninjured.
Constable Robbie Stewart of the road policing unit said: “We are asking anybody who saw either of these road users on the B9039 or witnessed the collision to contact us.”
