Police are appealing for information after thieves stole a quantity of copper piping and fittings from a Highland youth hostel.
Entry was forced to the Glen Nevis Youth Hostel, which is located off the C1162 road, sometime between 7.30pm on Thursday and 7.20am on Friday.
The pipes, which are in a range of sizes, were stored in the building in bundles. These have been removed along with boxes of industrial fixings.
Constable Ishbel Eunson said: “We are asking anybody who was in Glen Nevis around this time and saw anything suspicious, whether people or a vehicle, to pass this information on.
“I would also urge anybody who is offered copper for sale to be aware of this theft and to let us know.
“Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to contact police in Fort William on 101, using reference NP569/18, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
