Police in the Highlands have issued a safety warning ahead of Rangers’ trip to Dingwall to face Ross County on Sunday.
A sizeable crowd is expected for the Scottish Premiership match, which kicks off at 2pm.
Officers will be on the lookout for anti-social behaviour and cracking down on anyone turning up at the match drunk.
Police Scotland match commander Chief Inspector Iain MacLelland said: “We want to make sure that everyone is able to enjoy the match in a safe, trouble-free environment.
“Any form of anti-social behaviour will be firmly dealt with so the overwhelming majority of fans can enjoy their day in a positive manner.
“We will be working with the club and stewards and checks will be carried out to ensure alcohol is not taken into the stadium.
“We will also be checking buses traveling to the match
“Anyone arriving drunk will be refused entry and runs the risk of arrest.
“Many incidents we deal with at football matches involve excessive consumption of alcohol so I would urge people not to let themselves or their club down by spoiling what is always an enjoyable day and traditionally been a great event.”
