Organisers of the 15th Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival have announced that Paloma Faith, the Charlatans and Amy Macdonald will headline this year’s event.
The three-day festival will take place at the Belladrum estate near Beauly from August 2 – 4 on the main Garden stage and the Grassroots stage.
On the Thursday night Scotland’s Frightened Rabbit will be playing the whole of their The Midnight Organ Fight album before Amy Macdonald takes to the stage.
Friday will see Paloma Faith on the Garden Stage performing tracks from her acclaimed album The Architect that debuted at number one in the charts.
Promoter Joe Gibbs feels that securing the singer for the festival is something of a coup, adding: “Paloma has been top of our hit list for a while.
“She is the perfect headliner for Bella and we can’t wait to welcome her. So far, another stellar line-up and so much more to come.”
Finally, ‘Madchester’ survivors the Charlatans will close out the festival on the Saturday night.
Mr Gibbs said: “So many exciting acts new to Bella to rave about this year, plus some of our best friends are returning.”
Among them are Kissmet, a Bhangra Rock Fusion act, and 90s Scottish indie outfit The Supernaturals who recently reformed.
Johnny Cash’s daughter Rosanne will headline the Grassroots Stage and is no mean singer-songwriter herself having bagged four Grammies.
Tickets are on sale and according to the website tickets are beginning to sell out, especially for the camping, glamping and camper-van parking despite a “huge” number of acts yet to be announced.
