The Inverness Town House opened its doors to the public this weekend for the first time since its £4.2million revamp.
Here’s what some visitors had to say about it:
“It’s very grand; it’s stunning. It has a lot of history and the renovations look good. A bit of history in Inverness is good.”
Laura Burgess, 32, estate agent, Inverness
“It’s stunning. It’s important to keep the building in good order for the future.”
Ross Burgess, 32, company director, Inverness
“It’s brilliant; absolutely superb. It’s a pity it couldn’t be used more for public use. I think they have done a fantastic job. It’s something Inverness should be proud of.”
Norman MacLean, 63, welder, Muir of Ord
“I have never seen it before. There is lots of detail, letting you see what Inverness looked like before. I am originally from Poland and I think it’s beautiful.”
Ewelini Byczkowska, 24, waitress, Inverness
