Caithness police are investigating two thefts of diesel at a property in Upper Thrumster off the A99 south of Wick.
The first theft took place overnight on February 6 and the second on February 15.
Police Scotland are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to these thefts.
Sergeant Stephen Mezals said: “I would like to remind the public of the importance of keeping their property secure. Rural locations in particular are vulnerable to opportunistic thieves.
“Taking simple steps such as locking houses, vehicles, sheds and oil tanks and keeping valuables out of sight will act as a deterrent.
“Other measures such as security lighting and CCTV will also make your property less vulnerable.”
