Police in Badenoch & Strathspey are appealing for information after damage was caused to a window at a business in Kingussie.
The damage at the premises on King Street was caused during the weekend.
Entry was not gained to the business and nothing was stolen.
Inquiries are also ongoing into two other incidents in Kingussie in recent weeks.
The first at another business on King Street during late January where a three figure sum of cash was stolen.
A further incident was reported at a charity shop on the town’s High Street, where entry was forced and a low three figure sum of cash stolen overnight on Wednesday February 7.
Inspector Mike Middlehurst said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into all of these recent incidents and I would urge that anyone with information who has not yet spoken to us gets in touch as soon as possible.
“We are keeping an open mind about whether these incidents are linked. However, there is a clear similarity in the type of crimes committed and the location.
“I would like to reassure people in Kingussie that thorough investigations into these incidents are ongoing and we will work to resolve them as quickly as possible.”
Information about the incident in January on King Street can be passed on using reference NM585/18, while the High Street incident relates to NM820/18.
