An eight-year-old boy from Kiltarlity with an immense community spirit has been treated to a spectacular snowy sight.
Kyle Mackay hit the headlines this winter after stepping up to clear snow and spread salt around paths in his home village near Beauly.
Now the young helper has been treated to an experience on a grander scale – the chance to see the winter road clearing operations at CairnGorm Mountain.
Adam Gough, who works at the snow sports resort, felt inspired to extend an invitation to Kyle after reading about his efforts.
He said: “Kyle’s story caught my eye and I thought he might like to see how clearing operations happen on a bigger scale, here at CairnGorm Mountain. It was great to show Kyle what we do to keep our visitors safe on the roads at the resort.”
