The tank at a property in Renfrew Place caught fire shortly after 10am. It initially began in the garden but quickly spread to the side of the property. No-one is believed to have been injured as a result of the fire. The incident was attended by both fire fighters from Fort William and police officers. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service received the call at 9.58am dispatching two appliances from the area. A spokeswoman from the service confirmed both teams had used one jet, two sets of breathing apparatus and one thermal imaging camera. Firefighters were still dealing with hot spots and continuing to cool down the area until 11am.
