Firefighters were called to battle three wildfires in the Highlands and Islands today.
Meanwhile, two crews from Fort William and another from Strontian were called to the B8043 at Camasnacroise in Lochaber just after noon to tackle a 50-acre blaze which was half a mile wide.
They took just over two hours to put it out.
Another three crews were called to an area off the A858 Staffin Road a few miles from Portree on Skyeat 12.05pm where they tackled a six acre blaze which was around 100 metres wide.
The crews, from Portree, Staffin and Uig extinguished the fire by 1.35pm.
Firefighters on South Uist, meanwhile, were yesterday called to Lochboisdale to battle another blaze, which had a two-mile front, at 3.17pm. They were still in attendance last night.
