Police are appealing for information after 11 sheep died following a dog attack in Argyll.
The animals are believed to have been mauled in a field near Inveraray Golf Club sometime between 8.30am on Saturday and 8am the following day.
Sergeant Iain MacNicol, of Lochgilphead police station, said: “In total, four sheep were killed and a further seven sheep had to be put down due to the extent of their injuries.
“Another six sheep are being treated for their injuries.”
