Police were called to the Moy junction of the road at 5.28pm after a collision between a silver Ford Focus and a blue Daf truck. There were three women in the car and one needed to be cut free by firefighters. The woman was then taken to Raigmore Hospital in a road ambulance. A second woman suffered facial injuries. The A9 has been closed in both directions as a result. The accident has caused significant disruption and diversions are being put in place.
