People are being offered the chance to build their own home on an Argyll island.
The Inner Hebridean Island of Luing is one of the famous Slate Islands on Argyll’s west coast, lying south of Oban.
Two plots, priced at £95,000 each, are currently being marketed by property consultancy Galbraith.
They are being offered with full planning permission for architect-designed houses. These are likely to attract buyers looking for a second home, as well as those keen to retire permanently.
Nicky Archibald, handling the sale of the plots, said: “We have witnessed a growing interest for properties on the Inner Hebridean Island of Luing over the past couple of years. Many property buyers on the island have first visited as a holiday maker and have fallen in love with the spectacular scenery and superb lifestyle.
“The plots offer a once in a lifetime opportunity for those keen to design their dream home, only yards from the shore on the sought after west coast with its stunning sunsets and are likely to attract a lot of interest.”
