Motorists in the north are being advised that part-day road closures in Farr have been called off after wintry showers swept across Scotland.
Highland Council were scheduled to resurface the B851 at Farr Primary School yesterday and today. However, due to the bad weather, it became unsafe for the work to commence.
The announcement came as the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning across Scotland, remaining in place until 3pm today.
Council officials have pledged the work will be rescheduled with advanced notification signs to be amended with the new dates as soon as possible.
