Police in Ross-shire are appealing for information regarding the theft of lead flashings from the former Newhall primary school building in the Balblair area of the Black Isle.
A length of between 30-40 metres was removed sometime between March 23 and yesterday.
Constable James Maciver said: “Due to the rural location, we are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area between the given dates to help us with our enquiries.
“I’d ask anyone who has dash-cam footage to review this as it may provide useful information.
“I’d also ask anyone who thinks they may have seen any vehicles in the area of the old school to let us know, even if it seemed of little note at the time.
“Similarly I’d ask anyone who has been offered metal for sale recently to let us know.
“Any information can be passed to us in Dingwall on 101, quoting reference NE2770/18, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
