Fire crews were scrambled to a layby on the A9 earlier today after a bus caught fire.
The Stagecoach was engulfed with flames on the northbound carriageway near Bankfoot just after 7.15pm.
The video above from Kathryn Fyfe shows the extent of the flames as motorists slowed to pass it.
A fire service spokesman said the blaze was extinguished by 8.03pm, using one hose reel.
The bus was on a test drive and will be moved back to the Inveralmond depot. No passengers were on board at the time of the fire and no one was injured.
A fire appliance is on the scene examining the bus.
