Coastguard called to Highland river rescue

A coastguard rescue team were called to a Highland river this morning after reports of someone falling in the River Nairn.

The Nairn Coastguard rescue team and the Moray Inshore Rescue Organisation were called at 10.30am to the mouth of the river.

The casualty was found to be safe and well. They were taken to hospital to be checked over.
