One casualty was injured in a two-vehicle road accident on the A87 at Invergarry.
Fire crews from Fort Augustus, Drumnadrochit and a community response vehicle from Spean Bridge attended the incident shortly after 9:15am this morning.
The injured casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance.
A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed they were made aware of the incident at 9:09am to reports of a road traffic accident involving a silver Mazda 3 and silver BMW 5 series.
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 0913 hours today to attend an incident on the A87 at Invergarry.
“We dispatched one ambulance to the scene and one male patient in his sixties was transported to Belford Hospital.”
Casualty transferred to hospital after A87 accident
